Our Story...
Choctaw Church of the Nazarene was born in 1980 by people from Choctaw, Midwest City and Harrah who believed that God was calling them to plant a church that would witness God's mercy and grace to eastern Oklahoma county. They started meeting in the old post office building and soon God had blessed them with property at NE 10th street and Harper Road. Through 25 years, three building phases, and six pastors, God has continually blessed the church as it continues to reach out with the love of Jesus Christ.

Our current Pastor, Kevin Hopkins, came to Choctaw Church in January of 2003. In the last four years, God has richly blessed our church and the ministry of Pastor Hopkins. Today, you will find a rapidly-growing church of nearly 400 people with exciting ministries to children and teens (led by youth pastor Jon Newlin.) You'll experience a worship service that is a blend of contemporary Christian songs, familiar favorites and classic music of the faith.

We have sports ministries, men's and women's activities, ministry for singles, Sunday school for all ages, an exciting small group ministry, Bible studies, music ministry, a growing technology ministry, we support over 700 missionaries in nearly 150 areas of the world. We have a place in ministry for you, whatever God has called you to do!
