Know, Grow, and Go

We have worked together in past few years to define the flow of ministry in our church. We believe that ministry is a journey with the Holy Spirit.  We have tried to simply define that journey into three stages: Know, Grow, and Go.

KNOW

That journey begins at "KNOW." We want you to stop and get to know God first of all! If we are to live in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, then we must get to know him - not only as Lord or Savior - but as our friend. Then, we hope that you'll join us in building the network that the Bible calls, "The Body of Christ." Come and get to know us.  The church is less an organization and more an organism.

The Bible says that the church is the living, active, Body of Christ. We hope that you'll make friends in our church, that you'll join a H.O.M.E. group, that you'll join us in worshipping together as the family of God Himself!

Grow

The second stop in our journey of faith is "GROW!" We believe that the Bible calls Christians to grow in faith and in their relationship with God. Jesus told the parable of the Talents - in which the one who didn't invest his talent for growth lost his talent altogether. We invite you to join us in Sunday school - we have classes for everyone in the family! We hope you'll join us Wednesday nights for family ministry.and on other occasions where we have the chance to GROW together in our faith and in finding our calling

 in Jesus Christ!

GO

The Christian journey should always result in people who GO into the world to share the good news. The purpose of ministry in our churchis to equip believers to pursue the calling God places in their hearts. If ourrelationship with God doesn't result in GOING into the world to share His love,we've lost the focus to which Christ called the church in His last command:"Go into the entire world and preach the Gospel to all nations, makedisciples, baptize them in name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teachthem to obey all I have taught you."

To effectively preach the
Gospel so that lives are
changed.

To equip leaders of all
ages for lives of service,
worship, and ministry

To connect people in a
healing community of
grace.

We believe in One God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word and our standard for daily faith and living.

We believe that man is born with a sinful nature that requires God's forgiveness.

We believe that those who do not ask God's forgiveness for their sins are hopelessly and eternally lost.

We believe that Jesus' death on the cross was the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind and that anyone who willingly repents of their sin and asks Christ to be Lord of their life is forgiven and made new in God's eyes.

We believe that the natural progression of God's grace brings people to a place of total commitment to God - a state we call entire sanctification.

We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness in a person's life to the saving and sanctifying work done in that person's life

We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place .
